Olivia Rodrigo is on track to hold her ground at the top of the charts this week, with her hit album pacing for another massive #1 on the Billboard 200. Early data shows the Interscope superstar leading the pack with over 56,000 equivalent album units moved, narrowly fending off an annual, historic surge from Michael Jackson’s Thriller, which currently sits in the No. 2 spot with over 52,000 units.

This chart battle highlights Rodrigo's immense pull across global streaming and digital platforms as she commands the top tier. While Jackson's spooky-season classic always sees a predictable post-Halloween catalog surge, Rodrigo’s dominant numbers demonstrate how newer, younger pop titans are successfully staying on top of the album charts, even when faced with legendary powerhouse competition.
